Matcha Latte Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp high-quality matcha powder
  • 200ml milk or dairy-free alternative
  • 1 tsp of high-quality honey

Method

  1. Warm milk, preferably gently in a pan, making sure not to boil.
  2. Once your milk is room temperature, add matcha powder and honey. Whisk thoroughly.
  3. Enjoy!

Top tip: You can still make a matcha latte without a whisk. Once the milk is warmed, you can add it to a leak-proof container with matcha powder and honey, seal the lid tight and shake for about 10 seconds until well combined.

What Is Matcha?

Matcha's origins can be traced back to 12th century Japan. Most matcha powder we see in the shops today has been grown and produced in Japan.

Matcha is made from pure green tea leaves ground into a fine, bright green powder. High-quality matcha is known for its health benefits, including being packed full of antioxidants and amino acids.
