How to Make a Vegan Iced Coffee

For when it’s too hot to leave the house (pretty rare if you live in England, but we have our moments), or when you simply can’t be bothered to leave the house (quite common if you live in England, it can be bleak out there), this is how we make a creamy, smooth, and delicious vegan iced coffee at home with just three ingredients. Thank us later.

PSA: you should know that if you also can’t be bothered to make your own vegan iced coffee, which is relatable and understandable, you can cheat the system with our ready-to-drink vegan iced coffee cans

Vegan Iced Coffee Ingredients

What You’ll Need

Vegan Iced Coffee Recipe

Step 1

Fill your glass with ice cubes. If you don’t want to dilute your coffee too much and want an extra caffeine boost, pre-fill your ice tray with brewed coffee.

Step 2

In a separate glass or mug, make a double shot of coffee using your Grind coffee pods in your favourite blend, or brew 150ml of ground coffee

TIP: If you want a little extra flavour hit, use our Flavoured Coffee Pods. Available in Hazelnut, Caramel, and Vanilla, these combine our signature House Blend with just the right amount of flavour for a subtle sweetness.

Step 3

If using, stir in a teaspoon of brown sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla essence, then gently pour the espresso into the glass, on top of your ice cubes.

Step 4

Add around 200ml (or to taste) of cold plant-based milk to your glass.

Step 5

Give it a good stir, add more ice if necessary, and enjoy.

If you’re really trying to elevate your iced coffee game, you’ll need to get the Cold Brew Bottle involved. Cold brewing uses no heat at all, which creates a smoother, less bitter taste as it retains more of the coffee’s natural aromas and flavours. It’s more time consuming as you’ll need to leave your coffee brewing for at least 10 hours, but it’s worth it.

How Many Calories in a Vegan Iced Coffee?

The calories in your vegan iced coffee will vary depending on what kind of plant-based milk you use and how much of it goes into your drink. A standard vegan iced coffee made with oat milk will have around 120 calories, whereas a vegan iced coffee made with almond milk will have fewer calories (around 70). Made with soy milk, your vegan coffee will have around 100 calories.

Our ready-to-drink Iced Oat Latte Coffee Can contains only 85 calories.
